Golden Birdwing

Species belonging to this genus are considered to be the largest, and for this reason they are called birdwings. As caterpillars, they feed on poisonous plants (Aristolochia), and assimilate the toxic substances that make them poisonous. The bright yellow, black, and red colours warn predators.
