Silver King Shoemaker

They are common in butterfly houses but are also the most difficult to spot. With open wings they show a splendid iridescent blue colour, but most of the time their wings are closed, showing only their cryptic colouration which hides them. They are among the fastest species and it is difficult to see their colours during flight.
