The group of Phasmids includes insects of the most diverse shapes, specialized in camouflaging. The male can be very different from the female (sexual dimorphism) and often has wings that allow him short flights to search for a partner. The female has reduced wings and mimics a crumpled dry leaf. The male, on the other hand, is able to fly and has an elongated body, similar to a branch.
