Stick grasshopper

Stick grasshoppers are a family that can be confused with stick insects (fasmids), rather than with other grasshoppers. Its antennae are short, the head is very elongated, the wings are very short or in some absent species. These grasshoppers are incapable of flying and rely totally on mimicry for their survival.
